I am a client of Tamara's for over 15 years. By far the best spa in Detroit and Midwest. I travel a lot and always visit spas in every city. Tamara's spa atmosphere, facility, massage therapists and facialist are the best. They are consistently great with the wonderful beauty products.

I have been to Tamara's a few times, and have not been that impressed. I thought the pedicures were a complete rip-off (I almost had a heart attack when my bill was $80 - don't get the foot masque, apparently)! The aesticians (waxing & facials) and masseuses were very nice and did a good job, but the nail staff and even the front staff were really rude. I think Salon Julianna (Plymouth) and Legato (Farmington) are much better.

This was my third visit to Tamara?s Spa and I must say once again I was amazed. This time I decided to get the ?Private Time? spa package which includes a rain forest water journey, European spa facial, skin consultation and a 55-minute Swedish massage. I got all this and champagne for $165. My massage was amazing. I felt relaxed and revived at the same time. The atmosphere is tranquil and inviting. The spa is beautiful and well decorated. My rain forest water journey was so relaxing. It is actually a private steam with where you can decide/control the refreshing gushes of water coming from different angles. I have never seen anything like it, I felt like I was taken away to the Caribbean or the Amazon forests! My facialist, Ellen was very experienced and gave me a good consultation regarding my skin. Her hands were expert and gentle. I was able to buy the products she recommended right there in the spa boutique. My face was soft and supple after my facial. I really felt pampered and rejuvenated. I would definitely recommend this spa. They go out of their way to please you and they make you feel special. A little tip I can give, Tamara?s Spa send email specials all the time with some really great discounts. It is a good way to get multiple services for a reasonable price. Hope my review was useful!

I had an unforgettable experience at Tamara Spa just a few days ago. My husband bought me and my daughters a package ?Spa Champagne Treat? for Mother?s Day. As soon as we arrived, we felt a very relaxing atmosphere: classical music, extremely neat look, fresh spring flowers and refreshed drinks. The ladies at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. We had a spa hostess who was taking care of us and making sure that we were running on time for every single service that we had. Operators that we had were very knowledgeable and nice. We started our day of pampering with a unique rain forest water journey which is a very unique aroma steam room with eucalyptus. Then we continued our relaxation with a soothing swedish body massage, european deep cleaning facial and spa manicure. I was pleasantly surprise having a lunch in a private dining room area and to be served by my hostess. Finale was a make up application by a very friendly artist who creates a new summer look for me. Operators at Tamara Spa made us feel very special! One of my daughters is getting married soon, so I will definitely make a bridal spa party for her at Tamara Spa! Highly recommended!

For my 40th birthday my friends decided to surprise me with spa girls night out. It was so much fun. It was 12 of us and I had never had better time. It was my first time at Tamara Spa and I was quite impressed by the size and by how nice everything was. I liked relaxing music in the hallways, and dimmed lights made me feel very peaceful. We all gathered at private lunch room for champagne lunch with salads and croissants. We were taken to our services after and we all had different treatments done that day, and they were fantastic. Its hard for me and my friends to get together very often and this was the great idea to do that. Best birthday ever!
